Permanently Disable a specific CEL code?

I've read it's possible to permanently disable a particular engine error code (in my case, P2263) with FlashPro. What happens if I unpair FlashPro from my car? Will the code return?

To unlock the FlashPro you must return the ECU to stock, and it will be as it came from the factory.
