Kpro or ecu shorted internally

I have a 2000 ek k swap. Check engine light came on. When you connect to kpro it reads ect and iat are at 255 degrees, while all other parameters are at 0, not reading at all. No codes either. Replaced ect sensor same thing. Kpro randomly starts working fine some ignition cycles. Ohm tested ecu found ect shorted to vcc. Now I’m not sure if the ecu is shorted or kpro is also damaged since it randomly works fine. Any way I can test independently from eachother?

If it is intermittent, then you should try it on a known working vehicle to see if it works as, it should and if it does then you have a wiring issue that needs to be resolved on your car.

I finally got a chance to test ecu on another working k swapped ek and ecu was still setting the same over temp fault.

Post the calibration and a datalog showing the issue.

kpro overtemp datalog.kdl
not sure if i datalogged it right but the sensors stay stuck reading those parameters at all times except when it randomly starts working fine

What is the serial number on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

This K-Pro was installed by Pons Auto Service. There may be an issue with the installation of the K-Pro so I would recommend that you have them take a look at it.
