Help! Low Oil Pressure Stuck in Limp mode no light or codes

K24a2 swapped miata
I am a noob so be patient with me. Still learning. So, did something stupid. Left my oil cap loose and it rattled off while driving. A few minutes from home the car started to bog at 3000 rpm. Checked hondata and fuel is getting cut.

Topped off oil, maybe a quart low. K24 takes 7 quarts.

I don't think I damaged the engine because it didn't get too low.

However, I am stuck in this limp mode. No CEL light or codes to read. I unplugged the battery twice already. Nothing.

Can't drive over 3k rpm. Fuel cuts.

The TPS does not appear to be reading correctly.

Ok, I will take that off and check it. Maybe I need to recalibrate it too.

I replaced the TPS and same issue. The weird thing is that I can rev passed 3k rpm in neutral but not under load in any gear. Thoughts?

Post the calibration used as well as a datalog showing the issue.

So, TPS works with key on but not with engine on. Reads fine with just the key on. Reads 0% with engine on.

Maybe a fault somewhere?

It sounds like there is a problem with wiring or the sensor. You should also try your ECU on a known working vehicle and see if it reads correctly there.

After all that troubleshooting it was the TPS sensor.
