Lambda Overlay Glitch

Post by WestminsterClub »

I see a lot of talk about lambda overlay not working and the plotting but not showing value. The attached is what I got to work for me.

https://streamable.com/2j79bq

Value don’t show up. Make the sampling rate really low. .01 it should populate values. Than go back in and set it to your like 1 or .5 and it should show your values.

Hopefully this can be addressed and this will help others

Can you describe the behavior so we can look at this?

Plot somewhere in the datalog

I select overlay

The overlay is not showing.

Solution

This is my lambda overlay setting untouched
IMG_7216.jpeg
I than change it to .01
IMG_7217.jpeg
It shows the overlay numbers and percentages

Don’t want it showing .01. So I got back in and change it to 1 which is a good transition delay

In a k series file I select the lambda overlay selection and it populates and I don’t have to make any changes

What wideband are you using?

Can you post the calibration and datalog showing the issue?

Even when I adjust the sample to 1 it will not display. I'll upload a video

I still have to adjust the transition delay lower (.01) than adjust the acutal amount (1) for it to display.

This calibration and datalog were made with old software. Download and install the newest version and reupload the calibration and make a new datalog and see if that works.

You can also set the min cam angle to -30 in the settings for the lambda overlay, since you are not using VTC in the S2000

New calibration and data attached. I also set the min cam angle to -30.
Flex Fuel Street Drive Final.kal
93 Octane Final Run.kdl
It still doesn’t pop up when selected the first time. My current work around is to switch between display lambda values, Display fuel adjustment values sensor overlay. Doing so a few time pops it up.

There appears to be an issue that it is not initializing, but if you go to the Options, Settings and then Lambda overlay and click ok, it should display.

I have let our software engineers know about this.
