i need help. computer updated to the july 3 2024 beta and now my car goes into limp mode max 4k rpm as soon as warmed up. it is 2004 rsx ecu with kprov4 connected to a k24a2. soon as car hits about 170f the ecu stops sending a cam command an displays 0 camcmd the engine code says failed vtc solenoid but thats because ecu stops sending a signal. it all worked fine sunday until kmanager updated to beta. it messed up calibration files also. but this error with no cmd sent has to be related to firmware updating.

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

I can't get to it until this weekend. It's in factory location behind glove box real pain to get in and out.
Tho discovered if turn off vtec it stops sending code and going into limp mode. Allowing vtc to still function normal. Idk possibly vtec solenoid quit an just coincidence was at same time as upgrade.

Found problem was just coincidence. It was the vtec gasket blew out. New gasket an no more codes
