some questions about flashpro carb in California

I live in California and need to comply with the emission laws here and I am planning to buy flashpro Carb and MAGNAFLOW 2017-2021 HONDA CIVIC STREET SERIES CAT-BACK PERFORMANCE EXHAUST SYSTEM and SRI Mishimoto so can you tell me if the above configuration will have any problems when using the Carb map on flashpro? And is it against the emission laws in Cali? This is my first time using flashpro carb so I don't know how to calibrate the parameters. Can anyone write a tutorial for me to use it? I just want my car to accelerate a little faster and reduce the lag of the throttle. Thank you

With CARB you cannot change any of the parameters which might affect emissions.

The SRI Mishimoto is going to be a problem because it alters the AFM reading.

All parts used must be CARB approved.

Similar question: My son has a 2021 Civic 1.5T Touring CVT here in California.

He's got the Mishimoto CARB-approved 2016-2021 intake:
https://www.mishimoto.com/2016-honda-ci ... qhH-4nEuK9

And the model-specific Magnaflow catback:
https://www.magnaflow.com/products/1931 ... ust-system

Searching through the forum, I was under the impression that the +3 and +6 psi EPA/CARB compliant tunes would be fine since the intake is CARB-approved. However, here I'm reading the SRI Mishimoto will be a problem since it alters the AFM reading?

Maybe I'm misreading the Calibration Wizard, but if I select CARB=Yes, Intake=Mishimoto and Exhaust=Magnaflow, it does show the +3 and +6 CARB calibrations.

So, no good unless my son reverts back to the stock intake?

I just re-read Hondata's response to the OP: I may have misunderstood... It's changing PARAMETERS, like trying to get more out of bolt-ons, is something you can't do with the Flashpro CARB.

I have no desire to play around with air and fuel settings. Nope!

BUT... if we are happy to live with your +3 and +6 CARB Calibrations via the Calibration Wizard, and have no desire to get all tweaky with our CARB-approved intake, then all is good?
