Hi guys
I have a PRC PRB ECU running KPro v4. It was previously used to run my EG. I have just swapped it into my DC2 and I'm having a weird issue
After uploading a base tune for a K24, I started the car and test drove.
Vehicle drove fine and external wideband is reading correctly. ECU was running external wideband for years and has not changed/been modified upon install into DC2

No DTCs
All wiring in vehicle is correct

Only when going back into KManager did i find that the ECU is now registered as a PRA ECU.
I am now unable to upload a tune to the ECU as it fails.
I have removed the cover and confirmed the green light comes on for a second and then off. Red light then does one big flash and turns off.
KManager shows the ECU as online. USB driver appears to be at latest version
I have managed to erase the ECU but cannot upload a new tune

I do have a PRA ECU with Kpro v4 that was originally in the DC2. This still plugs in and operates as it should using the same PC/KManager.

Any help would be much appreciated

What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

Serial number on board is 54328
Software version number showing on KManager is 4.5.6
0. My KManager has already been updated to the latest beta version

Have you tried swapping the K-Pro from one ECU to the other to determine if it is the K-Pro or the ECU that is the problem?

Showing up as a PRA has nothing to do with this issue.

I will swap the kpro board to the other ECU tonight and report back

Issue rectified. Swapped boards and both ecus worked as they should. Swapped boards back and the PRC started faulting again
Found a laptop with an older version of KManager installed. Plugged PRC ecu in and it prompted to re-upload tune due to version difference.
Tune successfully loaded this time instead of timing out with an error/warning like before. So unsure what the exact cause was but both ECUs appear to be running correctly now
