Cold Start and Ignition Question

Hey there,
is it possible to retard the Ignition in the first few Seconds like on newer vehicles to get the Catalytic converter fast up to temperature on the S300? For the S2000 Software seems to be a tab called "Warmup ignition retard". Which is missing in the smanager
Reason is I want to make my B18C6 Turbo Civic Road legal, but therefore I have to make an emissions report firstly (which contains things like HC, NOx etc.)
Best regards
Martin

Try the 'Ignition Compensation' tab and set the Water Temperature Compensation Low table to retard the ignition around the coolant temp you're at when starting the car cold? Might 'kind of' work if you set it up right.

Thats what I tried. unfortunately this doesn't work.
The Problem is, the minimum I can put into the cell is 0. It says negative values retard but you cant input negative values?
Thanks for your input

Anyone got another idea?
Or why it isn't possible to insert negative Values?

I will have our software engineers look into this.

The low compensation table can only advance and the high compensation can only retard. I'll change the text in parenthesis to make this clearer.

Thanks for your input.
Is it generally possible software wise to implement a Warmup Ignition retard to heat up the catalytic converter fast?
Best regards

You could use a nitrous output, set to always on, enable when ECT is below a certain temperature, retard the ignition based on rpm.
