05-06 K-Pro in 1997 Civic

I bought this K-pro as part of a swap and didn't realize it was not for 92-00 Civics. What would be the best route to take,

Sell it and get the proper K-pro
-OR-
Keep it and make it work?

I've heard you can make it work but i can't get any god info on how to. The transmission sensor and VTC are the only things I've found so far to be different.

Im at the point i want to get it tuned so this is pretty much the last step.

I would recommend selling it and get the correct one.
