Hi,
have a problem. My air condition do not start. When I press A/C switch, the green light turn on. In Hondata ACSW also turn on, but ACCL do not.
With ECU with no Hondata everything works fine.
I checked with 2 different ECU's with 2 different s300 (V1 and V3).
Model: Prelude 97-01. Year:1997
A/C do not start

Datalog. I switch A/W several times.

Re: A/C do not start
You may need to have the AC system tested to make sure that it has the correct pressure to operate.
Re: A/C do not start
When I connect ECU without Hondata A/C works fine...
A/C Has all new seals and presure is good.

Re: A/C do not start
What is the part number of the ECU you are using with the s300?
Re: A/C do not start
1st
37820-P06-A02
2nd:
Don't know. (No sticker)
Logika like P1J (blues connectors)
On the board is: 2PU6098-4508P1.
And the one without Hondata (on this A/C works fine):
37820-P1J-E11

Re: A/C do not start
Post a picture of the P06 showing the inside of the ECU.
The other ECU's are not compatible with the s300.

Re: A/C do not start
OK:
1st P06 or P28 - with Hondata everything works fine except AC
2nd 37820-P06-A02 (from my another car - but there AC was removed) - with Hondata everything works fine except AC
3rd 37820-P1J-E11 - my back-up ECU without Hondata (with EPROM) - AC works fine
4th 37820-P1J-E11 - ECU in the car with Hondata S300 V1 - everything works fine except AC (no picture, but it is exactly the same as 3rd ECU)
I'm using these 4 ECUs with my 3 cars (Accord 98 Type-r H22A7, Prelude 94 (H22A and now H24 Turbo), Prelude 1997 H22A7) for several years.
First all without Hondata - only with EPROM. With all of them AC works fine in these different 3 cars.
Prelude '94 is track spec car for several years, so now there is no AC (was removed). I use 2nd ECU in it.
Last year I bought another new Hondata, so I install S300 V1 in prelude '97.
I checked S300 V1 and V3 with 1st, 2nd and 4th ECU. AC do NOT start.
As i said - without Hondata AC worked/works fine with all 4 of them.

Re: A/C do not start
It looks like the ECU's socked for use with the s300 have other modifications and altered circuitry and they may be damaged or not have the correct circuitry for AC to work.
Re: A/C do not start
OMG...
They all worked fine with eprom - AC works normally.
To work with a Hondata the only change in every one of them was a socket...
I'll can change a socket to go back to eprom and the AC will work corectly with each of them.
I see You have no idea why AC do not work with Hondata...
