Weird Speedo Bug

Post by maxbutton »

I am facing some form of weird speedometer bug for my FD2 Type-R.

whenever i flash a new tune in, the speedometer's accurracy will be off by 30kmh(actual speed - 30kmh).

To overcome this bug, I have to flash in another totally different tune and then flash back the 1st tune then the speed will be back to normal.

No speed adjustment is made in the files be it ECU or Speedo

Example :

1st step
flashing in Tune A = Actual speed - 30kmh
2nd step
flashing in Tune B = Actual Speed - 30kmh
3rd step
flashing back to Tune A = Actual speed

Anyone experiencing this same bug or is there something tat im doing wrong?

both flashpro and flashpro manager is up to date.

I have not heard of his from anyone ever. Do you have any live tuning tables set?

Try disabling the live tuning tables and see if the issue goes away.

i realise the problem lies with the countershaft teeth number.

have to adjust it alittle higher to get the right speed.
