Bad idle switching over to hondata

I have a 97 Del Sol with a d16y7 and a junk 2 intake and 70mm TB. It was idling alright on the stock obd2a ecu. It had an iacv blockoff because the 2 wire would not work on the stock ecu. Now that Hondatas in I wired in iacv and set the idle but it idles like shit. The idle seems very inconsistent and goes up and down every 10ish seconds. When I come to a stop after driving it dips down a couple hundred rpms like it wants to die then goes back up. It also slightly jerks and rev jumps under 3500rpm in most gears except 5th. Is this be something that could be smoothed out with Hondata or is this more of a timing issue. I know nothing about tuning so I’d appreciate any advice.
