Base map for my 8th gen SI

Post by aherna4945 »

I have a Fa5 2008 k20z3 with stage 1 clutch kit, K&N typhoon intake, headers skunk2, and an acuity short shifter and I need a base map that makes it feel a little better I'm currently just running a base map, but I want to make it feel more racer. Please help...

Welcome to the forum,

I suggest finding a basemap with the mods close to your and dial it in to make sure its running safe. It might run a little better to find a base calibration running in speed density. Once you change to an aftermarket intake its best to run in speed density. If you are aiming for power you would need to get a proper tune.

If you find a calibration you want to run, post it here with a datalog and I can take a look at it to make sure its running safe.

Hi Ed, I am in the same boat. I just swapped the K20 with a JDM K24 but transferred everything from K20 over (100% stock). I see few basemaps listed in this forum closer to my setup that I'd like to try out to get my car running. Can I download and use them them? Do I need to unlock anything when downloading? Thanks,

You should be able to just download the calibration and upload it to your car.
