first time posting and I hope I can get some information or at least direction on what else I can do.
I have an older version of kpro
ECU# 37820-PNF-A02
2091-200373 0K20
#05000856

ive had a tune on it for YEARS and just recently decided to download kpro manager to check it.
DL the latest firmware and each time I get
"usb driver not installed / offline"
I've check internet connection and fine. I've tried to updated the usb driver via the upper tab and it gives me an error.
I've tried different usb-a cords, different laptops and each time the latest firmware gives me the same error codes.
im at a lost on what else I can do.

I've checked device manager on all the laptops and kpro manager is no where to be found. usb drive is recognized but no kpro.
Im running win 11 and the specs on all the laptops have exceeded the min requirements. any help is appreciated before I have to send this unit in.

im using software V4.5.8.0
im just wondering if maybe I forgot to download a separate driver or if I had a bad cable.
I tried 4 different cables and 3 different laptops running win 11. Is my ecu to old for the current software?

The current software works with all versions of the K-Pro. Is this in the vehicle with the ignition turned on?

That is correct. Ive tried with ignition on, off and with car started and all same results. USB driver not installed / offline
I was even told to open kpro, plug in the cable. then close kpro out and restart it again and it "should" work. it didnt.
im at a lost on what to do next. Is there a separate usb driver file I can download?

You can download the drivers from the website: https://hondata.com/software?route=info ... nformation , but should not need to use these as the drivers are part of the software. You may want to try using a different laptop.

I've tried 3 different laptops with and all have gave the same results.
all three had windows 11 64bit home installed on them.
Each of them have gave the error code "usb drivers not installed / offline"
the laptop reads the usb cord being plugged in.
Ive gone to check internet connect. ok
ive tested usb and it gives the error code.
ive tried to update usb and same error.

What does it show up as in the Windows device manager?

in all three laptops kpro does not show up in the device manager.

Does the device manager refresh when you unplug and plug it in?

Yes it does. Shows the USB it's plugged into refresh when it's reconnected but it does not say kpro. Did this on all laptops

It will show up somewhere in the device manager window if it is refreshing. I need to know what it is showing up as.

Just shows up as USB.
Shouldnt the Kmanager driver be present when I download the latest software? When I did a fresh download again. I got the same error code when kmanager automatically opened when I downloaded it. in which it gave me an error trying to open it, but it still opened.
I checked device manager (I did not plug in the ecu to the laptop yet) and it did NOT show any kpro manager / kmanager files or drivers.
Shouldnt the drivers be present when you download the file? Is this an issue with kmanager and win 11?

What is the exact error you are getting when you open the software.
