Tuning VTEC killer camshafts

Post by CivicVTi »

What settings do I have to make in the ROM editor? IT's for a P30 ECU. If I disable vtec, I can tune right up to 7300rpm (low map). How do I tune above that?

Disable VTEC spool and pressure. Keep VTEC enabled otherwise only the low speed table will be used. Set VTEC to 2000 rpm. Tune up to 2000 rpm on the low speed cam table, then above 2000 rpm on the high speed cam table.

Thanks! I was planning to do so but I didn't know that the ECU swaps maps at crossover point when VTEC pressure and spool are disabled. Thanks again...
