P05, boost, and a non-VTEC d-series......
What I've got: A 2000 Civic CX with internally stock D16Y7, intake manifold and tranny from a D16Y8, and an OBD1 conversion with a P05 ECU. The car hasn't been driven with this combination, it's just what I have at the moment, ready to put together along with an in-the-works turbo system, also incomplete. What kind of ECU tuning is this combo capable of? I'm not trying to build a car that makes big dyno numbers or turns low E.T.s, just something fun and reliable to drive to work everyday. My goal, if possible, is to make the car perform as if it were factory-turbocharged without FMUs, check-valves, missing links, piggy-backs, sensor clamps or any of that stuff. I also have a set of 450cc injectors, and can put in a bigger pump if needed to make everything work also. ANY suggestions/comments are welcome and greatly appreciated!!
