I recently purchased a 2004 S2000 with a supercharger kit and a PRA KproV4 ECU. On my drive home the car felt like it had some part throttle tuning issues so I decided to install Kmanager on my laptop and get some datalogs and inspect the tune. When I connected the ECU it asked to update the firmware (The only option was “Ok”). After the firmware was updated I went to download the tune from the ECU and something immediately seemed off.
The downloaded calibration was just the AP1 CAI basemap.
I went to the Calibration Storage tab and tried retrieving the calibration from there and it was the same exact basemap (uploaded in 2021). I am new to Kmanager, but am very familiar with Flashpro. Usually when updating the firmware in Flashpro it first downloads the calibrations, updates the firmware, and then reuploads the calibrations. Is it possible that the calibration that was on the ECU was lost?
I haven’t tried driving it since that but the car starts and idles and the AFR on my wideband gauge hovers around 14.7.
Since the car has 550cc injectors and a 4bar MAP sensor I wouldn’t expect it to idle properly. When I first picked up the car the cruising along the wideband stayed around 14.7 and under some brief WOT pulls seemed to stay around 12.1.
After the firmware update while my car was idling I took a datalog and it looks like the recorded AFR is exactly 14.7 with 0 fluctuations at all and the analogs 0-7 all report 0V. (Looking at the ECU it looks like the wideband is wired into the connector that is normally blank on a factory S2000 ECU)
Do the analogs record voltage even if they are selected as unused in the calibration?
I’m trying to get in contact with LHT who installed the kit for the previous owner, hopefully they have something on file…

Calibration lost after firmware update?
Re: Calibration lost after firmware update?
What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?
From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

Re: Calibration lost after firmware update?
My normal firmware update routine is reboot after firmware completed. Full calibration with another reboot after the calibration. Slope Game
Re: Calibration lost after firmware update?
That is the current software, and just updating the firmware will not delete the calibration. The only way to overwrite the calibration is by opening a new calibration and uploading it to the ECU/K-Pro.

Re: Calibration lost after firmware update?
Thank you for the info.
As far as the analog inputs, would the voltages be recorded in the logs if they are set to unused in the calibration?

No, they will not.
