Trying to improve my e85 tune, noob

KPro4, KManager 4.5.6, K24 in an exocet with headers, intake, 14.4:1 pistons, 4pistonracing cylinder head, "road racing" cams. First tuner was a joke, the thing barely ran. Second tuner I used got 330whp (mustang dyno) but he tunes primarily for drag racing. Car ran pretty good wide open but was terrible on throttle tip in or light throttle at higher rpms. Driveability sucked on a road course and it overheated quickly.
My first concern looking at the AIM dash for A/F ratio was that it seemed way too high for E85. Small throttle openings up near 14 and wide open down around 10. I believe 9.7 is about as lean as it should go?
I was thinking that closed loop must be disabled but it seems like it is enabled. Settings -> Closed Loop is set to External wideband (not sure if this is the right setting? there is a o2 sensor installed). Close Loop Options Disable P1167 and Disable P0134 are disabled. Maximum MAP for closed loop is 40kPa.
Closed Loop Advanced has No WOT compensation, Enable target lambda tables is not set (probably why the tables seem to be set to gasoline settings?). I adjusted the Closed Loop Target Lambda values what I think E85 values should be and it does start and idle a bit better now.
My questions are these:
Is the A/F reading I'm getting on my AIM dash likely correct? It would seem those A/Fs are dangerous. I have never seen a knock count above 0. How can I confirm the A/F values?
I'd like to get this thing to run better, hopefully cooler, and I'm ok with giving up some overall performance to make sure it is reliable and has good throttle characteristics on track. Should I Enable target Lambda Tables and set them to reasonable values for E85?
Should I be using autotune to make adjustments? I have not made any adjustments to any of the tables.
I've attached the original calibration that I started with and the changes I've done so far.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
