I have a PND manual ECU with Kpro v4 I am running in a swapped car with a cluster that takes 4000 PPM input. I am a bit confused about how to get a VSS signal output from the ECU. Some posts say it is not possible with an auto ECU which implies it is possible with manual? I read another post that says the auto ECU is the only one with VSS out.
Is there a particular speed input I need to use?
What do I need to get VSS output working?
Re: What do I need to get VSS output working?
What is the serial number that is on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?
Re: What do I need to get VSS output working?
What is the part number that is on the white plug inside of the ECU? Our notes indicate it was installed into an automatic ECU.
Re: What do I need to get VSS output working?
It seems that this is not the ECU that the K-Pro was originally installed into. Where did you get this K-Pro/ECU?
Re: What do I need to get VSS output working?
I swapped it from a PND-A55 to PND-A06
Re: What do I need to get VSS output working?
There is no VSS output on the ECU. The VSS signal comes from the sensor and goes to the dash and ECU. IF you input the vss signal directly to the K-Pro, only the ECU will be able to see and use the converted signal. It will not output from the ECU.
