I bought the hondata mobile app to check my car.
I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to be.
each time shifts into 3rd gear, VTEC status will show it turned on. regardless of which RPM or how slow i drive.
Even when i am going 30 mph and shift into 3rd gear, then the status is on. down shift to 2nd or let go gas it goes off.
this made me wonder the setting in the flashpro manager "VTEC window rpm" is for?

as you can you my RPM never went over 4000, but VTS turns on each time it goes into 3rd gear. It goes off when i let go the gas pedal (TPedal 0%)
is this how VTEC Spool worked? i thought VTEC kicks in when its under high load or WOT.

It appears to be normal.

is it really normal that VTEC kicks in at 3rd gear regardless of your VSS or RPM?
so i do another test, i put in sports mode at keep the car at 2nd gear, RPM over 5000 the result is.. no VTEC
