There is nothing in the software to disable this.

That's for a different vehicle and ECU.

thank you for the quick reply. any reason the feature is not an option for USA - rdx, its, ctr? i would purchase flash pro for my rdx just for this option.

a work around is to have an option to select the default dynamic mode as sport or sport +. possible?

I'm not sure what you are asking. For the FK8, the US vehicle does not have idle stop/start. Only some of the Euro vehicles.

Checking in to see if this feature was added.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the confusion - I’m referring to a USA ‘23 rdx. The idle stop/start feature is a real pain. I would order a flash pro if you added an option to disable the idle stop/start feature.

I too am hoping it's possible to add it to the RDX FlashPro. I helped my friend flash his 2024 Civic Si and the feature exists for that application to disable idle stop.

You can cancel the auto idle by tapping into the auto-stop pedal switch (there should be a dedicated switch meant only for auto-stop). If you add a bypass to always provide voltage, it will think that you're not on the brake (or clutch). In my car, a 2011 Honda CR-Z, doing this does not cause any long-term issues. Sometimes after about an hour of driving and some other condition I can't figure out, the vehicle shows a 'check IMA' light which goes away after turning the car off. The code goes away but is stored and shows up using an HDS as a auto-stop switch malfunction.

I would prefer to have Hondata just give us the ability to disable it in software (particularly for 2019-2025 RDX)
