2019 Accord 2.0T manual poor/no decel problem solved?

I've got a 2019 2.0T 6MT that after flashing stage 2 the engine braking was absolute shit. On a recommendation I adjusted "overrun injector restart RPM (cut)" to 6900 RPM in the last cell and uploaded it, and to my surprise it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Cut to this morning driving to work, I put the car in cruise and headed to work. When I got off the freeway, to my surprise the decel was shit again! On a hunch I opened the Hondata app and watched injector duration and throttle plate, then toggled cruise control (the "main" button, not "set>cancel") and that was exactly what was causing it! I took a screen record of the app toggling it on and off but can't get the file to upload here for some reason.

With cruise on but not set and no throttle pedal input, injector duration is 1.0ms and throttle plate is at 6%. Then when I push the "main" button and turn off the cruise system, injector duration drops to 0.5ms and throttle plate drops to 1%. In this configuration the car drives MUCH closer to the way a traditional cable driven throttle body does (which is what I was looking for) and throttle response is much snappier. HOWEVER it means that I have to actually turn the cruise control system off (as opposed to just hitting the cancel button) whenever I want the car to perform well.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get rid of this so that it performs well regardless of if the cruise/LKAS system is on or not?

This is how it operates. If it were to leave the overrun settings enabled while cruise is enabled, then cruise control does not operate correctly.

When you say "enabled" are you talking about the "main" button being pushed or a cruise speed being set?

Ah gotcha. Thanks for the help. Kinda sucks that I have to toggle cruise on and off to get performance when I want it, but at least now I know. It performs SO much better with it off, so I'm happy to find this out. I was starting to regret spending the money for Flashpro because it didn't make much of a difference in the performance but now I'm stoked I did it!
