07 Civic Si tune help
07 Civic Si tune help
Hello guys,
I'm a brand new flashpro user and looking for a basemap to run my car on. I'm not sure if the "Completely stock tune" will be good until I get a proper tune.
Currently I am close to stock, All I have is a Mishimoto SRA and I'm planning on getting an Invidia N1catback exhaust soon. I'd appreciate any guidance.
Thanks!

You can try some of the different calibrations and see what works best for you.

Any calibration you use will need some adjustments. How are the calibrations you have tried so far?

Re: 07 Civic Si tune help
Hi Ed I'm sorry for the late reply, so far I've only tried the "completely stock, tuned" and so far everything seems fine the only thing I disabled was the rev hang. Now the car feels like a brand new car, also the other thing I've noticed different is that the "S.Trim (%)" value sits in between -14 and -10 so I'm not sure if that's something bad. I can send you some logs later today.CalibratEd wrote: Fri Sep 29, 2023 8:21 pmAny calibration you use will need some adjustments. How are the calibrations you have tried so far?

Here's the datalog and the calibration file. The car was fully warmed and it was sitting at idle, I did rev it too. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: 07 Civic Si tune help
No problem. I know life can get busy. The car is running rich. You can tell this by the fact that the L.Trims are negative. This means the ecu is removing fuel. Ideally you want to minimize the amount of work the o2 sensors have to do. There were also a few counts of knock but the occurrence was not recorded.

I see, that sucks. Is there anything I can do to make the car run better?, I'm very new to all of this but I know for sure there should be a mixture so the car doesn't run too rich.CalibratEd wrote: Wed Oct 04, 2023 7:05 am No problem. Re: 07 Civic Si tune help
You would have to adjust the MAF table. I made some adjustments for you. Load the calibration and create another datalog.

Re: 07 Civic Si tune help
Thank you so much Ed, I did see and notice a difference when I loaded your calibration, S trim and L trim where almost close to zero it was sitting between -6 and -2 but I saw some spikes to -10 when it was at idle.
Here's the datalog. This time I drove longer so you can have more data. Once again thank you for your help and time!

Re: 07 Civic Si tune help
I made a few minor adjustments. No knock was present in the log. You should be good to go until you get a proper tune. My info should be in the file. Feel free to reach out for an Etune if you don't already have a tuner.
