HONDATA app iOS 16.6.x Bluetooth takes forever to find S300

HONDATA app on iPhone 14 running iOS 16.6.

Every time the Hondata app is opened it takes forever for the S300 v3 to show up, why is this behavior occurring on the app interface? My Apple Watch and other BT devices erroneously show up on the first scan, which I find to be odd.

They may use a different version of bluetooth.
