Variation in RPM signal

Post by toanzh22a4 »

Hi

Looking for some insight on reading the RPM signal in the datalog files. At this time, I'm unsure if these could be small misfires or poor RPM signal from the distributor.

H22 setup with P28 S300 Hondata COP with OBD1 distributor. Ground terminal for the COP kit is bolted at the thermostat with the ECM.

During acceleration the RPM signal varies quite a bit, even on deceleration you still see +- 100 rpms.

I don't have another ECU or distributor to test with.

Let me know your thoughts.

This look typical, nothing I would worry about.
