Been playing around with tuning my F23A1 accord with p28 s300v2 ecu and have been running into an issue with the rev limit lowered to around 5000 rpm unless I'm at full throttle input. not sure what parameters are limiting the revs. when giving it medium throttle to just accelerate with traffic it keeps my rev limit low and will never allow for full range of rpm. it is only when I give it 100% throttle input is when it lets Vtec engage and the full rev range of 6800rpm is achieved. what should I change or look for to change the limiter so that I can get full reves even at lower throttle inputs?
I will attach file of my base map file

Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
Post a datalog showing the issue.
Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
i just recorded this log 5 min ago and its starting to seem like 50-60% throttle is the threshold of where it allows me to get the full rpm and vtec

Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
You have a burnout rev limiter set to always on at 6200 RPM
Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
so I changed the burnout rev limited and it does allow me to rev to 6800 rpm now but still will not let me have full rpm when I'm trying to accelerate at 20-60ish throttle input.
Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
Try disabling the burnout revlimit.
Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
I did disable the burnout rev limit and it didn't solve the problem if anything I can t rev completely to 6800rpm when sitting still could it be an ignition cut issue?
Re: rev limit is lowered unless throttle is at 100%
Post the calibration and datalog showing what it is doing now.
