i need to know if when the clutch is not depressed(car is in gear if the clutch switch is comleting the circuit or not? the reason I ask is because I want to know if it is possible to splcie in dash mounted switch for nornal everyday driving and doing burnouts that would deactivate my 3 step

Yes you can put an inline switch to turn off the 3step option.

so i just need to splice into one wire and can put a toggle on/off switch in and that will do the trick? sorry im not a wiring pro...so it wont matter which wire?
