Wire in knock sensor for obd2a/ P28 S300

Post by JDM_Ego »

I have an OBD2A harness with a jumper for a P28 for my new B20VTEC. I have a knock sensor on the back of the block but my harness didn’t have a plug for it. I would like to run it if possible but need to know which pin it goes to and how to wire it. I wanna say I heard it was D3 but can’t find a solid answer on if it’s just a 1 wire sensor that slips over like the coolant temp sensor does for the gauge. I have a bunch of other harnesses I steal plugs off of but can’t seem to find anything on them that looks like it goes to the knock sensor

A P28 ECU does not have the circuitry to run a knock sensor.
