Hey all. I just finished installing my JDM K24A with RBB-3 head into my 2003 Civic Si and have an issue with excessive knock counts, according to my data logs. Below are the following parts installed:
Short ram intake 3" piping with EP3 stock throttle body
DTR k24 swap header, 2.5" RSX Yonaka mid pipe with stock EP3 axleback
Swapped over crank angle and knock sensors from ep3
Hondata Kpro V4 with k24a basemap 91 octane
Type S NGK iridium spark plugs 6988
I recorded a few datalogs ranging from 15-30 minutes and see upwards of 100-600 knock counts depending on RPM. I've been taking it easy and only getting up to 5k on 70-80% throttle just a few times, but overall taking it easy while i'm breaking in the clutch. Maybe this is phantom knock but i'm not a tuner (installed the engine myself), and just wanted to make sure my base map isn't to blame. I did get a p0325 the other day after my drive to work drive but it went away on the subsequent drive home and hasn't come back yet. I have a new OEM Honda knock sensor in case that could be the culprit.
I've also attached my calibration.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you continue to have knock, try removing timing in the areas it is knocking and see if that makes a difference.

Also try working on your short ram intake to lower down your intake air temps sometime you are at 70°C and add fuel you are a bit lean, it might help
