2018 1.5t 6MT (non si) base map request

Post by isaacavery »

Hey guys,

Just looking to see if anyone can help me with a base map for my car. It has been dyno'd but now if I'm on the highway for more than 10 mins i get christmas lights on the dash and the error code is under boost. I drive like a grandma 99% of the time and if I do rip its on a highway on ramp or to pass someone doing 80 in an 80.

The car still runs perfectly fine even with all the lights, i just lose things like the rollback feature and lane assist. Also if I turn cruise on it basically overrides my tune and i lost the better boost and rev hang. The dyno guy wasn't that great, he did 30+ pulls to get me from 201 to 207 and after telling him multiple times what parts I have when he finished i got a "oh i didn't know you have an intercooler". I also did a +6 psi base tune myself on hondata and ran that for about 6 months with 0 issues.

but heres the list of parts if anyone has any advice or recommendations, I can go see another dyno guy if anyone has any recommendations in the ottawa area cause I dont want to go back to light touch lol

injen SRI
mishimoto intercooler w/ bigger charge pipes
PRL catted front & down pipe
excedy stage 2 clutch and single mass flywheel
its lowered too but I dont think that affects anything tune wise

Thanks in advance!

You need to datalog when this occurs and see what errors are reported in the software.

Sorry I'm a noob that's why I went to a dyno guy but is that something I can hook it up to my car and do a full 3rd pull and then post what that shows??

I honestly wish I just kept it at the 201whp base map and kept driving it, cause whatever he did messed my car up

Yeah you can do that. I would also recommend that you discuss this issue with your tuner as they should be able to help you resolve it.

I can take a look at the log if needed. Your tuner should be able to help you seeing as you paid for the tune.

Wow. Well I guess if you have to run a shop every hour counts. That is why I remote tune. Post the tune and logs and I can take a look at it.
