hi there!

i have been modding my CTR Pre-FL and as a finishing touch, i got my hands on a hondata flashpro to fine tune the car based on the hardware that i've installed.

i've successfully jailedbroken the car, and verified by the flashpro manager software. however, when uploading a base tune into the ECU, i get the following error barely a minute into the uploading process. (the dashboard going into christmas lights and shortly after the error pops up). Error attached into this post.

some details:

location: Singapore
Car: 2018/2019 FK8 (according to hondata mine's a Mexico ECU?)
Hondata: 2017+ Civic Type R International
Flashpro Manager Version: 4.1.1.0 (i had the same error on 4.0.7.0 too, and i updated to see if it would resolve the issue)
Error: Code 0x00 Step 13 Address 0x000000
Jailbroken: Yes

for some reason when i select a UK/Asia/Japan model, it throws an error and tells me to choose Mexico.

What is your ECU part number?

I can’t access the label of the ECU since it’s blocked by the intake. I used hondata to get the same (attached)

Hi there. I also tried flashing with the “2017-2018 Americas” calibration. Doesn’t work either. Same error.

The ECU has been reprogrammed in some way prior to using with the FlashPro and appears to have been programmed improperly. We have replied to the feedback sent from the ECU.

That’s sad to know. Will follow up with the updates aft the feedback instructions.
