Hello!
New here on the forum.
I have been trying different calibrations from the app the past 3 weeks, last week i decided to remove the primary o2 sensor to connect a wideband however these calibrations does not give the option to disable the primary o2 sensor, i found a couple ones called "race" maps but those ones make my car go way too low on fuel and some of them doesnt even let the car start, i have a stock k24tsx with no cat and a k20z3 gearbox and INJEN CAI.
Thanks for any help provided on advance!
Really new here so i dont know how to send DM's.

Jaup07,
What vehicle do you have? I know that in the 2014-2015 calibration there is box in the Misc section to turn off the primary 02 sensor.
You also remove the ability to use closed loop when you shut off the sensor. To my knowledge unlike Kpro you can not use the wideband to control close loop.

Thanks for the quick reply! I have a 2008 SI, for the different maps that I have tried the "race" ones do give me the option to disable the primary o2 sensor as they are MAP based but since those ones are really old they are no longer supported, to the poing that with some of them the car wont even start

I have never used race calibration files. Why are you trying to disable the primary o2? Is it missing?

My mechanic connected the wideband where the primary o2 sensor goes, he told me that I would be getting a check engine light that I can remove with the flashpro, reason why I started trying different calibrations but option is only available on those “race” ones, he said that having the wideband where the primary o2 goes would give better readings than putting it on the secondary o2

To my knowledge you are not able to use the primary o2 wire as an input in flash pro. Here is a link to a Hondata reference.

The only one I am aware of that can use the primary o2 sensor as an input is the s300 for older civics.

So as a recommendation i should try to move the wideband to the secondary o2 and plug back the primary o2?

Plug the primary back in its place and connect it to its corresponding wire. Replace the secondary o2 with your wideband. The wideband will need to be wired to one of these connections (EGRL,ELD, ECT2). Look up what works best for you.

Hmmm, whe didnt touch the wiring itself, the mechanic wired the wideband to the ignition so the gauge starts, not sure if thats wrong?

If I am understanding correctly. The wideband is installed but not connected to your ecu.
In that case replace the secondary o2 with the wideband and turn off the secondary o2 in flashpro.

Hello Ed,
Thank you for your reply.
I was able to fix the O2 sensor, Quick Question, i sold the car but got to keep the hondata, its unlocked, however im being told that the hondata has a limit usage of 3 cars and that would set a low price on my hondata, where can i check how many cars have been tuned with my computer?

To my knowledge you can use it on as many cars as long as it’s unmarried every time.
Maybe Hondata can chime in.

It should not be swapped between cars to avoid buying multiple FlashPros. If it is being sold then it should be unlocked, but you should not repeatedly unlock it if you are not selling it.
