PND ECU inside jumper wired

Post by civic b18c »

Hello,

Im completely new to K world so i have lots of doubts.

Im in the way of recolecting all the parts to do a k24a3 ej8 swap and i recently purchased a used kpro v4, the ecu is a PND-A06 so if aint wrong, its from a 04 05 base rsx so 5 speed manual.

in order to make reverse lock functional i've read that you need to move a wire from the B conector b7 to b22 so in the picture is the green line, but the ecu i bought, it has some more mods that i dont have any idea why are done (red and blue lines) does anyone know wich is the purpose of so? i haven't seen any kpro with such modifications, all pics i've seen in the internet are only with the hondata module an thats all, can anyone put some light in that??

the inside legs from pin B7 and E4 are cut

There is no reason those should be that way. The ECU may be damaged.

Thanks for the fast answer!

that one obviously is my biggest concert... but i tried the ecu in a k20a2 swapped ep2 and it starts and accelerates, i haven't done a road test, but it starts.

the thing is that after a few seconds the MIL light shows up, when the ecu that this car is running usually, doesn't throw any MIL light at all. Also with its ECU the engine sounds smoother than when is managed by mine...

the codes my ECU shows are P1166 (Heater circuit malfunction) P1298 (ELD circuit high voltage)

the previous owner said me that the ECU was tuned disabling the o2 sensor, how its called open loop? closed loop? IDK... i dont know if this has any connection with the P1166...

i guess the final test will be to test the ECU with a OEM EP3 and see what happens....
