FK8 datalog questions

Post by Fkay8 »

I have 2 questions regarding 2 datalogs that I made today in an FK8:

The speed on the datalog looks like it stops counting at 255km/h is this normal? I have the max value on the sensor tab at 300 but on the datalog only shows 255 and as you can see the rpm continue climbing. Is there anything that I have bad configured?

The second question is regarding fuel pump duty on the second datalog, on a pull on 3rd gear @ 5134 rpm it shows 99% for a short period of time, is this condition normal? The car is in stock condition apart from the Hondata Flashpro.

Just one more thing that I'm searching is there any table rev limiter vs ECT on the background?

Thanks in advance

That is the fastest the ECU can read from the VSS.

The fuel system in these vehicles does not have much headroom in it and can max out very easily. If you consistently see it maxing out then you need to lower the air charge. We have found that you can often make more power at lower boost levels as the increased boost adds heat and lowers the power and also causes the fuel system to max out.

No there is no table for rev limit vs. ECT.

Thanks for the fast reply.

On the pump duty I will try to lean a bit the minimum lambda plus lower a bit the torque request on this gear and have a try, I'm not using the table air charge limit on this particular tune.

Let me do another question regarding the VSS is not possible to program some math calculation with the rpm x gearbox to show on the datalog all the data in order to not stop at 255?
