New K24A Swap No Spark

Post by caden.0313 »

Hello, this is my first post here after spending a lot of time going through the forum to try and get my motor started.

I have a 2005 S2000 with a K24A turbo swap that I recently completed, and am now trying to get started with my new KPRO v4. I am using an aftermarket RSX 02-04 harness. So far through altering the base map of the stock K24A2 calibration I've managed to get injectors to work, MAP sensor (recently replaced), crank sensor (displays RPMs while cranking), and TPS readings.

Despite going from getting no fuel or spark to fixing grounds and having injectors firing, I still have not been able to have spark. I have 3 separate sets of coilpacks, ranging from 995ohms to 1200ohms, none of which cause my new spark plugs to work, as well as nothing coming from spark tester. I replaced the CPS with a new genuine honda one, and verified that the signal, ground, and power pins on the connector are displaying proper readings for both sensors, as is the same for the coil pack connectors.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend that you try the ECU on a known working vehicle and make sure you have the immobilizer disabled.

Check voltage at the coils. If you're only getting 10v's with the key on switch pins 7 and 20 on the C101 connector and retest.

Checked voltage at coil connectors, getting 11.5V on battery reference pin, 6Ohm resistance at ground pin, and when cranking ~4.5V fluctuating at signal pin. For the C101 connector pins, should the ones being switched be on the light blue s2000 C101 side or the grey RSX C101 harness side?

Hey boss I just wanted to message you about your no spark situation. now I do not have an s2k but I do have a k24a and this same issue, I am running a prb-a06 v4 and i have power and reference and ohm just like you. literally dealing with the same exact issue, however i have an em2/es1 chassis and im about to swap these same pins as im thinking im not wired correctly on the chassis side going into the ecu. i cant find this write up or situation within the es1 k swap write ups, but im feeling on just trying what you did. lemme know what ya think.
