PLX to Kpro V4

Hi, I have a PLX AFR gauge and module trying to hook up to a Kpro V4. I did all the wiring as instructed, grey from PLX to Kpro v4 analog 0 red wire. PLX grounded to same grounding point as the ecu. Right now, the ecu recognizes there is a widened connection, but the AFR reading on Kpro V4 is locked at 10.0 at idle, not following the PLX reading at all. Is this a wiring problem from PLX or is it a ground issue?

Where exactly are you getting power and ground for the wideband?

I’m getting power from ignition and grounding is to the location where the ecu grounds which is the engine. The gauge reads fine but not reading in Kpro

Have you checked the voltage of the output with a multimeter?

Not yet. But if the output wire to Kpro has power, then what other issues could it be?

You need to first see if the voltage matches what the PLX is reading on the display.

You mean check the Hondata display for voltage ?

No, you need to measure the output voltage of the PLX to see if it matches what it is showing.

I see, so you are referring to the equation (AFR-10)/2 right to get the voltage, and vice versa for the AFR. So if that matches, then what?

If it does not coincide with the reading then you need to contact PLX about what the problem might be with the wideband controller.
