I’ve been having an issue with the software having an application error when trying to upload changes to the ecu and also when data logging. It’s been doing it even when I was at the older 4.5.3 version and now again with the 4.5.4. version. I haven’t tried the 4.5.5 version yet but I don’t think that’s the problem. I noticed if I uninstall k manager and reinstall it will work fine for about a week. After a week I’ll try to datalog and the application error message will reappear. I’ve tried another laptop and the same thing happens. At first it works and then after about a week it crashes again. I’ve tried clearing security and it does not help. I also tried a different usb cable.

I've exactly the same problem even with the newest version since a long time, things can work flawless then the next day the bolt icon come on and off you cant do anything just have to try an other day.

Make sure you have internet access when you open the software.

No, but the software does need internet access from time to time or it will not work.

It's not a wanted behavior by users not even hondata, can it be fixed please ? i almost bought a new laptop thinking it was my fault
