CRV Clarity

Post by realitycheck »

I've read as many posts as I can find and am clear that there is no base map available that will work with a 2004 despite K-Pro being compatible with the A0x ECU. My questions specifically are:
- Given this or another compatible ECU plugged into a stock 2004 CRV harness, what FEATURES will not out of the box? (This question assumes the motor will not run)
- Would it be feasible for an end-user to take a swag at inputting swag base map values (based on a similar K24 engine platform) to get the engine running? (The assumption here is that it is going to be tuned anyway, so if the map is created conservatively that would establish a starting point, albeit not good enough to technically be considered a base map by normal standards)

Ultimately I want to know if in theory it is feasible to manually enter a map into a compatible ECU, run it on a CRV and which stock features will not work.

Thank you,

Paul

As long as it is a manual transmission it should work and will require some custom tuning.

Thank you, do you know of any way to export a stock map from a stock ECU, or at least view it to manually transfer settings?

That is not possible. You can only use the calibrations built into the software, found here on the forum, or in the vault that is part of the software.
