Overrun throttle opening (rev hang)

Will this feature be beneficial to combat the quick decel of a lightweight flywheel (8lb)?
If so, can you suggest or provide guidance as to how to configure the settings?
My main issue is with the lightweight flywheel, shifting up to the next gear at lower speeds has become a chore since the rpms fall so quickly causing the synchros to not engage smoothly.. I currently keep my foot on the throttle and shift, or wait and double clutch to shift smoothly..
Ideally, if this function could allow the car's rev to hang a bit more, then I would not have to keep my foot on the throttle while shifting.
Anyone have a similar issue and was able to successfully address this via flashpro?
