2006 Acura RSX TYPE S KPRO V4 VSS not working

So my 06 rsx with a kpro v4 in a PND A09 im getting a P0500 VSS Malfunction code I have the option for Countershaft Driven Speed Sensor on and still nothing. I checked the wiring which is good the sensor is a brand new oem sensor, im wondering do i have to depin a18 on my harness and wire it onto the analog cable or anything else I should try?

What is the serial number on the K-Pro board inside the ECU?

You should not have to do anything but change the setting in the calibration to countershaft driven. If you uncheck countershaft driven signal does the vss reading spike really high when you start to move?

What has changed in the vehicle since it last worked?

It stays at 3mph i’m debating checking the signal wires and it last worked a year ago then i rebuilt the tranny and other modifications now its up and running a year later and im getting vss malfunction codes

More than likely if you changed the gear ratios then the sensor cannot read the teeth on it as it may be too far away.

Its running the same gear ratios just a LSD and Carbon Synchros

You still need to check this as something has obviously changed and it happened when you modified the transmission.

You can also try the ECU on a known working vehicle and see if it reads VSS.
