No communication/ bricked ecu

Post by Boostedrsx »

Was driving today and out of the blue the ecu bricked itself. Car was fine for months nothing new. Was driving and the check engine light came on so I tried to connect with my phone to check and clear the code but it never connected, so I grabbed my laptop and it still wouldn’t connect, I re download and installed kpro and still no luck. Car is stuck in limp mode and has a firm 4k rev limiter

Have you checked the fuses and wiring in the vehicle?

Have you opened the ECU and looked for any signs of damage?

I know that e9 has power and e7 is grounded. I put my ecu in a know good car and it still didn’t connect then plugged my friends ecu back in his car and his car fired up. I did open for inspection nothing looks burn or smell burn.
