Firmware/Software Malfunction

I have a pnf-a05 ecu with kpro v4 sn: 63199 running kmanager version 4.5.4.0 in a 2001 civic ex.
When i first hooked up the kpro to my car it ran perfect, i was able to connect it to my laptop and upload a base map. The next day i tried to connect it to my laptop after i updated to the new software version, and a pop up said “The firmware on the KPro is from a more recent version of KManager. Please update your software”. Now i can’t upload calibrations, open cals or create new cals after connecting the kpro. i erased the ecu many times and the pop up still showed up. the only way i can upload a cal is using the test upload, but the car dies after about 7 seconds. i noticed when i connect the usb the green led lights up for a second then turns off, while the red led stays flashing. i tested the usb and it said “No compatible USB devices have been found” and followed the troubleshooting to no luck. On KManager it says online and reads ignition on.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
