D14 vs D10 for 5v wideband

Hello all. I'm using the glowshift digital 10 color series wideband guage. I'm reading online people said use the d14 pin but then it was found out that it only gives 3.73v instead of the full 5v. Fast forward sometime and now Bosch's wideband sensor can be wired into d14 due to the sensor being able to still read afr at that voltage. I'm NOW reading in a thread on here that d10 SHOULD be used anyway because the the ecu itself doesn't have a controller. Now my wideband came with a box that everything plugs into and has 3 wires that can get wired to an ecu. Am i ok to use d14 since i have this box/controller?

Do not use D14. You should only use D10 for a wideband input.

What about D12 for EGR?

Thank you so much. Does it matter which way it gets soldered?

And i also noticed on the picture, it has r2,r3. What is that for?

Capacitors must be installed correctly as reversing the polarity will damage them.

The picture is the same one use for another input that uses those.

Ahh. I'll have to look into that. Now the capacitor I'm looking to buy, do they come in different shapes or sizes? Or volts? If the one i posted is good enough, then sweet
