Upon connecting my new KPro in my car, I experienced an issue I’ve never seen before, code P1361 - TDC Intermittent Signal.. car cranks but no start.

Following Hondas service technician book,
I have verified my wiring for the crank position sensor and there are no shortage,

With the key set the on position (II), I have tested the voltage / ground on the 3 pins of the CKP connector, everything seems fine as well.

I then proceeded to swap the crank position sensor with a new one and I’m still running into the same check engine code.

Following that, I installed a new engine harness , still running into the same issue here.

Car was running like a dream before taking out the ecu.



Is it possible the new ecu replacement/kpro is faulty ?

What else should I look out for ?

You need to try the ECU on a known working vehicle and see if the problem follows the ECU.
