Going to buy a used hondata that I seen for a good deal anyway to see if FP-SI-US-15001 is vin unlocked? Also anything I should look out for when buying a used one?

Yep, check if VIN is unlocked and that there's no password for the device. I would take along your own USB cable (USB type B) and a laptop with the Flashpro software to confirm! Guy tried to sell me an "unlocked" flashpro and "lost" his cable. Lucky I brought mine and saw that it was still locked, at which point he backed out of the sale!

i just bought a used flashpro today and i don't have a laptop so i asked the guy a couple times if it was unlocked from his si and he said it was but then i got home and plugged it into my pc it was still locked to his car. i've tried calling him and texting him but he blocked my number. is there a way for it to be unlocked without the car it was locked on?

What is the FlashPro serial number?

the serial number is FP-SI-US-233608

To unlock the FlashPro without the ECU it is locked to is $500. If you wish to do this, let me know and I can issue an RMA# and further instructions.
