Hi, so today I needed to some adjustments to a tune and the SManager required an update and that succeeded with no issues. Then I got a pop-up for a firmware update.

I started the firmware updating process and for some reason the progress bar didnt move at all for a couple of minutes followed by the SManager crashing afterwards. Now Im trying to to connect to the ECU but Im getting upload/download access(basically no ability to edit anything). Hoping I just did something dumb and Its a simple fix.

Note: Its an S300 V3.

What is the serial number that is on the s300 board inside the ECU?

From Help, About, what is the version of software you are using?

It is version 2.7.8.0 from 10th January 2022. I was trying to find a way to retry the firmware update but it just wont connect so cant really do much. Is there a kind of factory reset on the board? Hoping that it will use the older version firmware until I try reupdate it to the most updated one. Im just guessing here to be honest.

With regards to the serial number I will check on that tomorrow first thing as here its already 10.30pm and Ill update on this matter when I have the digits.

Edit: Just thought of this also.Could it be that the old firmware + new 2.7.8.0 wont work together? In that case Ill redownload the older version and see if it will work.

Do not backdate the software.

Did you remove the s300 out of the ecu for whatever reason.
