Disable P0443

I can't find much information on this.. is it possible to disable P0443?
I have disabled all the EVAP related faults under 'Misc' but it doesn't specifically list this one.

No option to disable the P0443. You might want to look at what differences there are 2006 to 2007-2008.

Well i'm able to resolve the fault by plugging in the EVAP (I think) valve that sits under the hood on the LH side of the engine.
of what importance are the differences?

ECU is made for the 2007-2008 so if the 2006 has the exact same EVAP then it should be ok.
