Hey guys. I don't mean to keep asking basic questions, but I'm trying to utilize the shift light on my CRX HF cluster by using the s300 and was wondering a few things:
1) Is this possible with the Generic Output?
2) Is A17 an option even with a P28 computer (non-IAB)?
3) Are there any differences between the options (A15, A17, A20, etc) with regards to polarity? For example, one output may ground a 12V signal vs another one which closes a contact for +12V...
I do realize that I will need to circumvent the RPM pill inside the white thing that connects to the bulb on the cluster as well.
If anyone is familiar with doing this, I'd love to hear about it.

You would be much better off just using the MIL output and the shift light parameters: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/sh ... hift+light

I'm using that currently but I don't really care for it. I would like to make good use of the factory shift light that is already built into the cluster.
