I have a 2019 civic type r and I can’t lock my ecu and i get this messege

The FlashPro cannot be locked to this ECU because the
ECU is not reporting the serial number correctly.

With everything plugged in and the ignition in the on position, go to the Help menu and click on “send feedback”. Include a detailed description of the issue.

I already did all that and still nothing hondata have horrible customer service

HAs the ECU been replaced in your vehicle?

The ECU is not stock. It has been reflashed previously. You need to return it to stock using whatever method was used to reflash it before.

Ok if i would know who had it before me it be good but i dont know who had it before wat would be my next option or can i send my ecu to hondata so they can fix it

You'll have to explore the options yourself as to getting a stock ECU or reflashing the ECU back to stock.
