AFR DIFFERENT WITH SAME CALIBRATION - Chasing my tail with closed loop correction

Ive been chasing my tail with fueling for a while now. On my drive to and from work I make fuel adjustments using the fuel difference table in closed loop correction, get the fuel maps close to +/-5% or less, all is well, then a few drive cycles later or after an upload of some changes im logging and seeing the closed loop fueling is pulling -15% -20%! I recorrect, upload, then its running super lean.
Ive gone back and forth with this a while.

KproV4 - CRV on a k24 w/rsx-s head and intake manifold. Stock injectors, stock throttle body, stock fueling, e85.

Recently, i decided to focus on just idle. Turned off closed loop so running in open loop only. dial in the idle to meet 14.7 commanded afr. Kept the same cal no changes... try a few different key cycles and it stayed consistent at 14.7 in open loop ... uploaded a few times (the same cal) ... then it happened ... it went from 14.7 to 12.3afr

(I upload by blipping throttle to keep the engine alive while it resets during the upload. I also let it run through the first 20 s of enrichment to settle out)

Note, i have tuned on AEM infinity on my other car and have a decent knowledge. I have been using this Kpro for a few years and very patient and tried many things, looked through all the maps, settings, and not sure what could cause this

Hardware checks: Ive cleaned the iacv & spins freely, inspected fuel pump, fixed an almost rusted through fuel pump line near the tank, spark plugs, swapped the 02 sensor back to the original that i had recently replace. No difference.

Im leaning towards a software or calibration issue because it happens after an upload. If i was dealing with hardware issues i would think it wouldnt change after an upload.

Check out the screenshots showing similar conditions at idle in open loop, same calibration, with the large difference in AFR.

Any help much appreciated!

Post the calibrations as well as a datalogs showing the issue.

Can you do me a favour? Set it up for live tuning on 0 degree cam angle, closed loop, upload the calibration, then adjust the fuelling on idle 1% (should be on 0 degree cam angle) at a time giving three or four seconds between each input and see if it reaches the point where 1% makes a massive afr swing, you’ll even hear the engine note change on the key press.

Think I’m having a similar problem that I’ve been trying to get to the bottom of.

By the looks of things, it seems I've just managed to figure out my issue I was having which was very similar to yours.

Try setting your idle cam angles at 10 degrees, have no 0 deg on your entire low fuel map, kpro will log that you at 0 degrees on idle, but it seems like it uses the 10 deg fuelling table. Copy/paste your 0 deg first 4 columns to your 10 deg table and modify them both the same when making changes to get stoich.

Just did this now and finally managed to get the idle to stay consistent.

Let me know if this works for you
